Blouse – Huge category but basically any top that is loose fitting and feminine looking.

Bodysuit – A bodysuit is a tight and body hugging top that you kind of step into like a leotard. There are sometimes buttons at the crotch as a closure. It almost serves as a kind of alternative to a tank top but usually tighter. Bottom part can be ‘shorts’ instead of solely between the crotch.

Polo shirt – A collared shirt with only a few buttons going down from the neckline. Also usually made of a jersey like fabric.
Poplin shirt – Refers to a type of more rigid cotton, the style is usually a button up collared shirt. You’ll also often see these shirts have thin stripes.
Sweater – A garment with knitted fabric. Sometimes used as a catchall term for anything long-sleeved and warm but items will specify if they’re ‘knit-wear’ (in addition to being able to look at if and determine if it’s knitted).
Sweatshirt – A type of sweater that is typically like an oversized long sleeve shirt.
Tank Top – A top with straps instead of sleeves. Can vary in length but typically hip length.
Tie Front – A top with a fabric to tie into a bow, usually at the hem to close it or the neckline (to form a swanky scarf)

Wrap top – Similar to tie front tops where you wrap an open top around your body to close it. Can often include a belt made of the same fabric to close it.
