Tips for Transfem people to learn about clothing and style

Welcome!

Welcome to my blog, the purpose of this is to educate trans fem people on how to dress better in a way that aligns with their identity more. If you plan on wearing whatever you want then this blog probably isn’t for you because you can always do that anyway! This is for people who want to learn more about traditional looks and techniques for style or ways to deal with their dysphoria through dressing in ways to accommodate for that.

The Vocabulary section of the website is useful for everyone though to learn about all the types of clothes out there! So feel free to take a look at that. It doesn’t involve styling at all is and simply descriptions and examples for people to learn from.

As a woman who is 6’3 I get the struggle of not really seeing people with the same body shape and feeling doomed to never pass but that’s what I’m here for. Some posts will be dedicated for tips on dealing with more trans related ‘issues’ when it comes to how to dress, like being taller or how to minimize the appearance of your shoulders.

Much of the blog will consist of the ABSOLUTE basics in ways that are hopefully understandable to people that don’t know any vocabulary regarding clothing. Things will be categorized as such and based on what people want, so there will be polls on which thing to work on next (for the most part) which you can vote on with premium and suggest topics through the premium discord server.

I don’t run ads on the site because they’re incredibly annoying on mobile especially, or use your cookies in any way so feel free to not accept them, everything should still work. (The signup button is blocked by the cookies banner though so yeah) I do take donations because of this however as that is my main means of monetizing anything here.

Should the blog be successful enough for me to quit my job and focus on the current ‘premium bonus content’ which would allow me to make it available to everyone but I also have my degree to finish so we’ll see how much time I can dedicate to this, the plan is about 2 posts per month at least. Another note is I don’t plan on taking any sponsors from clothing brands that are known to be awful, such as shein, but other categories (like video games) I will have no particularities taking sponsors from.

For a bit of background on me, I’ve worked as a personal stylist for a few brands in high end stores. Thanks to my experience there my transition when it came to how to dress has always been a bit easier with access to nicer things at a discount but I never had the help I seek to give here, so while I may have had nice taste I didn’t know what to do with those things. Not having people around you give advice during your transition super sucks and I had no one to teach me other than some training I got in the workplace. As I had said before I’m 6’3/192cm and about 165lbs/75kg so I’m also in a more unique position than most other youtubers for example that might end up being like 5’4 and petite. I’ve also had a BA but I remember what it was like being flat chested as well.

Most of my advice will apply more to my body type but there should be plenty of other resources out there regarding stuff like that for how to dress for your individual body shape, but feel free to take my advice anyway and just apply it to other shapes as it won’t be about that too much but it does affect my personal decisions on how to dress 🙂

P.S. if you happen to see me in public please don’t approach me or anything as I’m not trying to get doxxed and value my privacy which is why I do not have a twitter or anything like that (other than for updating when posts are made) 🙂
